The goal of Uma Rain Gallery is to showcase art works of diverse, individual artists who excel in their chosen mediums, and who would like to attract a wider audience and clientele to partake of their talents. Each artist molds his style into modern, expressive and multicultural assembly of artistic vision to form and transform our subjective interpretation of earthly reality and the greater cosmos to which we are subliminally linked. Ideas, life experiences, and poetic visions are reconstructed and assembled via either the traditional or the contemporary form adopted by each artists.

We have chosen for our gallery the auspicious name, Uma Rain to signify the creative and fecund forces that inspire our artists to go forth and create from the divine energy that lies closest to their spirited, true selves. Uma, the consort of Shiva - the Hindu God of creation, is the perfect Divine Mother that nurtures the soul and allows for the creative force of each artist to spring forth and multiply via the artistic expression and freedom. Rain, the Omnipotent Giver, energizes and strengthens all that was designated for birth. Both entities, as demonstrated by our collective past, have been around to support, nurture, and shed inspiration and light unto our path to best carry out our life mission.

The artists presented here come from various artistic backgrounds and scopes of vision. Through their work, we hope to reach an international audience, which understand the quality, beauty, and freshness of new talent. Collectively, all of the artists share the singular vision to grow, share, and communicate with others the multiple and ever-changing array of ideas, perception, and life experiences that we all partake on daily basis.
